"I had a home visit as part of Selce’s pilot programme for Future Fit Homes earlier this year. I am volunteering as a Champion on the programme and so was engaged very early on. I had been trying to find an impartial advisor that I could trust to support me with how to increase the energy efficiency of my home for a while. Finding out that Selce was offering this service as a local community energy organisation in April fitted my needs perfectly. I am keen to reduce my carbon footprint. My main goals are to replace my gas heating with a renewable heat system, as well as to install Solar PV. Through having a Future Fit Homes visit and recommendations report, I am now exploring the process of procuring an air source heat pump system and solar panels for my home. Selce was able to tailor its advice and recommendations to my needs which has been instrumental in helping me to progress with my carbon reductions."
